Seasonal Events
Christmas Alive
Christmas Alive is our biggest outreach event of the year and has been going on annually for over 30 years! Each year we shut down University Blvd. and host a presentation of the Christmas Story complete with an angel choir, a live baby Jesus, and beautiful renditions of your favorite Christmas hymns. After the show, we all meet in the back parking lot for a big celebration with food, crafts, and fun for all ages!
Celebrating Christmas Alive 2024!
Christmas Alive 2024 was a beautiful experience that we won’t soon forget! With intermittent rain on the day of, our teams were very worried about how to ensure that Christmas Alive (a typically outdoor event) could still happen. Thanks to the quick thinking and action of our planning team, facilities staff, and many volunteers, we were able to bring the magic of Christmas Alive to our Sanctuary (barn animals and all), and the backyard party to our gym!
The night ended up being beautiful and sacred. Our Sanctuary was overflowing as people from all over the community who had come to participate in this beloved tradition and hear the story of Christ’s birth. We loved getting to share the good news of Christ’s birth with everyone, and we can’t wait for Christmas Alive 2025!
