Sunday Mornings

Each Sunday morning our church is buzzing with activity as we come together for discipleship and Worship! Below you’ll learn about what a typical Sunday looks like here at West U Methodist.

Sunday School

Each Sunday at 10:00 am we offer Sunday School classes for Youth and Adults. We have a wide variety of Sunday School classes that cater to each age and stage of life. You can join our Sunday School classes at any point throughout the year, and no registration is necessary. For more information on our different adult Sunday School classes, click here. We have childcare available for infants through 5th grade during the Sunday School hour! The nursery is located on the first floor in room 119 and Elementary childcare is located on the second floor in the John and Polly Collier High Court.

We also offer Sunday School classes for preschool and elementary-aged children! Preschool and Elementary Sunday School takes place during the Worship hour (11:00 am). Children will attend worship with their families and are invited to sit together with the Children’s Ministry. The children will attend the Children’s Message together before being dismissed to Sunday School as a group. For more information about Children’s Sunday School, click here.

Sunday School is a vital part of the life of our church, and we hope you’ll join one of our classes as they study scripture and build community together!

Worship

Our Worship service takes place in our Sanctuary on Sunday mornings at 11:00 am. Our Worship service is a blend of traditional and contemporary styles. On any given Sunday you can expect to Worship with both our Chancel Choir and our Worship Band, hear a Children’s Message given by our Children’s Director, read scripture, participate in prayer, and hear a sermon led by one of our Pastors.

Holy Communion is shared during this service on the first Sunday of the month and other special occasions.
